Jennifer is assisting the Community Design Team to revitalize communities and towns throughout West Virginia and the surrounding area. Having achieved a background in architecture from Virginia Tech, she is pursuing her interests in urban design and the development of communities. Jennifer believes that functionality and planning of urban issues should be considered on a smaller scale by various architectural interventions, rather than a large, master planning approach. Her ambition to facilitate improvement to the public environment is fueled by the idea that public space represents a sense of belonging to a broader community, and urban design complements that compassion.
