Area of Expertise
Dr. Sancheti continuously strives to maintain a balance between her creative and research aspects. As a designer she has presented her Designs at American Association of Family and Consumer Science (AAFCS) and International Textiles and Apparel Association (ITAA). Her research agenda integrates multi-disciplinary perspectives from Textiles and Clothing, Consumer Psychology, and Consumer Behavior. She is currently researching on social psychological aspects involved with tween (aged 9-14 years) girls’ behavior as consumers. Her other interests lies in cross-cultural and transnational apparel design, 3D body scanning technology, and sustainable fashion.
